Neste ERP Center of Excellence (ERP CoE) is a global team responsible for developing the integrated ERP landscape and supporting business needs and strategies for a rapidly growing international company.

 

We are looking for a Solution Manager, in the area of Finance to join the ERP Center of Excellence Team based in Houston, Texas.

 

We have a small team of experts in the ERP Center of Excellence working with a broad range of functions within the business to capture and manage business requirements and formulate these to be part of the functional specification. We are looking for somebody with an open mind, the ability to take initiatives, share their views and challenge opinions. We offer you a chance to get to know the challenging E2E processes in the finance and controlling area which includes supporting and developing Neste’s integrated ERP environment. 

 

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

  • Support the business network by leading the key user network in your own area, support end users (through key users), business SMEs, and other relevant parties

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to capture and manage business requirements and strengthen their awareness and ownership of the process

  • Drive developments per business requirements together with our partners

  • Participate in ERP development projects as needed


 

In addition, you will also work in close cooperation with process owners, system key users and end users bringing technical solutions and system knowledge to daily support and development work. You will report to Yeny Parada, Team Lead - ERP Center of Excellence  - Houston, TX 

 

The best combination to succeed in this role

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience, e.g. in consulting/IT implementation/business development in the field of energy or commodities trading

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a relevant field such as business or technical

  • Excellent collaboration skills in cross-functional and intercultural environment with external parties

  • Strong and clear ownership of the activities you take and issues you manage

  • Willingness to learn new skills and competencies on a continuous basis

  • Fluent communication skills in english

 

We also value

  • Previous work experience with E2E processes and ERP system landscape

  • Understanding of commodity market exposures, transactions (physical and derivatives), pricing elements, contractual topics

  • Knowledge in SAP Finance, VIM or Controlling modules

  • Previous experience with SAP IS-OIL

  • Strong understanding of other SAP modules (SD, MM, FSCM)

  • Previous experience of different roles in ERP projects

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
