We are looking for a Supply Chain Compliance Lead, Americas in Houston
Your part in Neste journey
Supply Chain Compliance is a global function ensuring the market compliance of Neste renewable products and the supply chain. We have globally around 30 experts working in our Supply chain compliance function. In Houston we have a team of 5 supply chain compliance experts and the team is expected to grow.
Our team is responsible for ensuring a smooth end-to-end process of Neste's supply chain regarding traceability, GHG criteria and other sustainability information to customers, authorities and internal functions globally to meet the end market requirements. Our role includes interpreting sustainability compliance requirements and implementing them across the Neste value chain. Also, our team is responsible for Neste's sustainability compliance certifications and other verification scheme audits. As a part of Neste's growth strategy our team is expanding in Houston covering the Americas region.

Your role on our team
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain Compliance team in Americas
- Ensure end market compliance requirements throughout the supply chain
- Cooperate with suppliers and customers in sustainability compliance issues
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders such as Supply, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Public Affairs and Sustainability
In addition, you and your team will
- Maintain and develop supplier compliance related tools and documentation
- Carry out supplier and internal 2nd party audits as well as participate in 3rd party audits
- Manage market compliance information of our renewables in Supply Chain operations
- Work with our in-house developed IT-systems managing the sustainability and market compliance information
Keys to success in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
- 10+ years of working experience from the private sector, preferably from biofuels industry
- Experience of being in a supervisor role, leading an international team
- Understanding of the biofuel legislation such as EPA RFS, LCFS, EU RED
- Experience from relevant biofuel verification or certification audits
- Good communication and team work skills
- Capability of working precisely in detail, but at the same time ability to understand the big picture
- Good understanding of the IT systems such as Google tools and SAP
- Excellent command of English, other languages such as Spanish is seen as a merit
