Neste’s regional headquarters in North America is in Houston, Texas and the company employs more than 500 people across the US.

 

We are looking for a Supply Development Manager (Business Processes) based in Houston, Texas to be a part of our growth and new business opportunities here in the US.

 

 In your role, you will

  • Work with the Neste Supply Team and other Neste entities to design a synergistic process for optimum supply flow
  • Work with Logistics and Operations to determine the best process for integrating all supply avenues and movement of supply
  • Understand and improve current business process to support all incoming supply with logistics and operations
  • Develop a business process on integrating other supply companies acquired to fit the logistics and operations process.
  • Liaise and collaborate with multiple internal business units locally and globally including Supply and Trading, Operations, SCM and Neste Refineries
  • Lead the development and implementation of Supply and Operations Planning process for Martinez Joint Venture, including indication / offer processes and data maintenance for price validation
  • Lead commercial integration of Agri-Trading (through Phase II), Mahoney, and future potential upstream acquisitions, including integration and ultimate consolidation of Supply and Trading Teams and related business systems and processes
  • Lead formulation and implementation of strategies to fully leverage Feedstock Hub, other terminals in context of supply to Martinez, Neste refineries, or trade outlets
  • Develop and implement business processes to facilitate the optimization of the NAM Feedstock Platform’s allocation of its various supply nodes to its various outlets;
  • Lead the transitioning business processes (e.g. position reporting) to accommodate the Team’s transition to an integrated Trading function

 

 The best combination of experience, skills and background are:

  • Experience working with logistics and operation teams including road transportation, rail, marine shipping and movement of feedstock supply
  • Knowledge of renewable fuels and raw material supply a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Critical thinker with good problem solving skills

 

We also value

  • Working knowledge of the transportation sector, knowledge of the refinery process/production and sale of renewable fuels, and/or the energy industry
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a compliance or operations related role within the industry; audit experience a plus
  • Positive and proactive attitude/approach to work
