Neste’s regional headquarters in North America is in Houston, Texas and the company employs more than 900 people across the US.  Our Minnesota location (currently named Agri Trading) is looking for an HR Manager to lead the HR Processes and be an HR Business partner to the business and help grow this location.  This position reports to the Head of HR, of Neste Americas located in Houston, Texas. 

 

Job Title: HR Manager

Located: Hutchinson, Minnesota

 

In your role, you will
 

  • Responsible for the HR Function for the Minnesota location

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees

  • Be a valued and trusted business partner to the leaders in this location

  • Collaborate with leadership to drive company initiatives

  • Communication advocate for the workforce

  • Responsible for the integrity of compensation and benefits information to employees

  • Partner with outside vendors in relation to benefits, retirement plans, sourcing companies, etc

  • Ability to understand and learn, make proper judgements, and adapt to situations and people.

  • Be abreast of any HR legal updates that impact the company

  • Work together with the Safety Team to ensure the company is complaint in our work processes

  • Establish credibility and trust among local management and employees, and serve as the on-site, go-to HR resource for the team.

  • Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans at a local level

  • Assess employee engagement and develop action plans to ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace

 

The best combination of experience, skills and background are:

 

  • 5-10 years related experience

  • Professional HR License preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Proficient with HR related software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

 

We also value 

 

  • Human resources certification such as SHRM Certification

  • A 4-year college degree
