We are looking for you,
Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team in Melbourne, Australia.
You will independently & proactively coordinate & drive day-to-day operations including inventory, based on commercial, service &/or terminal contracts in the domestic & international oil & renewable business securing Neste’s position in the end to end supply chain.
In this job you will be part of the Global Commercial Operations team and work closely with both external & internal stakeholders. Your external stakeholders mainly will be suppliers, ship owners, customs brokers, storage terminals, inspectors, agents & other service providers
You will independently & proactively manage:

Dedicated day-to-day operations, contract execution, sustainability criteria management, inventory quality & quantity monitoring. Sharing live information to all relevant stakeholders to minimize exposure & optimize contract performance, adding value & ensuring compliance

Desk instructions documented and kept up-to date. Inventory management & reconciliation in compliance with Neste principles & processes

Proactive internal & external collaboration & communication ensuring optimal contract performance.

Direct impact to Neste financial reporting & targets through efficient operations, inventory management & meeting market sustainability compliance regulation. Safety, customer & supplier experience is secured.

Dynamic environment & requirement for timely operations; contract execution, inventory management, up-to-date system entries, demanding problem solving, continuous & last minute changes. Global work environment challenges with different time zones & out of office hours availability.

Knowledge & understanding of the oil, renewable, circular industry and international commodity business

Knowledge & understanding of the supply chain workflow, operations, inventory, logistics, various modes of transport & efficient ways of carrying out operations

Commercial awareness - ability to understand drivers of the commercial trade & associated p&l.

Comprehensive ERP systems knowledge, including reporting and analytical tools

Good & proactive communication & collaboration skills; fluency in written & oral English, preferably also local language skills

Performance & result driven with accuracy & attention to detail. Adaptable to changing environments

Ability to work under pressure, respond to the dynamic & demanding requirements of the international oil and renewable markets

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area, e.g. from business or technology / or significant post qualification experience
