Job Title: Site Operator

Reports To: Site Manager

Located: Minnesota

Department: Logistics and Operations

 

In your role, you will 

  • Loading and unloading product into railcars from truck trailers

  • Positioning rail cars on tracks for proper loading and unloading

  • Sealing rail cars for shipment 

  • Site maintenance including safety equipment. 

  • Minor equipment repair as well as transferring equipment for off site repairs.

  • Safely following Standard Operating Procedures

  • Performing the work in accordance with safety protocols

  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks 

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Ability to conduct simple administrative tasks

  • Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License 

 

 

The best combination of experience, skills and background are:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 1 year related experience required. 

  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

  • Must have a good sense of balance and have the ability to maintain 3 points of contact

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be able to work in tight spaces when loading vehicles

  • Must be able to work at heights approximately 15 feet above the ground

  • Must be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds at times. 

  • Ability to stand, walk and work outdoors in various weather conditions
