We are looking for you,

Engineer/Senior Engineer/Lead Engineer, Process Design 

to join our team at Neste, in Porvoo.

In your role you will be a key team member in executing Neste's Refinery Portfolio Projects in Porvoo Refinery. You will have opportunities to work closely with other engineering disciplines as well as possibilities to find solutions with different stakeholders and vendors. In the role of process design engineer, you will also take part in troubleshooting, optimization and supporting safety operations in Porvoo Refinery. 

In our team, you will also support operations and develop and improve our ways of working. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

• in the Lead role leading process design teams in projects

• participate in all project phases from pre-study and feasibility study via basic engineering to detailed engineering and As Built phase

• engage in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up phases.

• ensuring safety by participating in safety analyses

• ensuring effectiveness and continual improvement.

The position will be located in the Kilpilahti area in Porvoo, Finland. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas. We offer flexible opportunities to work remotely two days per week. 

Keys to success in this role

• M.Sc. or equivalent competence in chemical engineering

• 2+ years professional experience in process design in the chemical industry for the Engineer, Process Design role.  Minimum 5+ years for the more senior position

• ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• in the Lead role experience of leading teams

• fluent English language skills

Other strengths we value
