Instrumentation Lead Engineer
to our Instrumentation Engineering team in Porvoo, Finland.

As our Instrumentation Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. You'll leverage your expertise to guide and mentor the instrumentation design team, collaborating closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders across various engineering disciplines throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial studies and basic engineering to detailed design, implementation, and commissioning.

Your role in our team
- Lead and guide a design team through all project phases, ensuring adherence to agreed quality, scope, time, and safety standards.
- Take ownership of instrumentation activities, encompassing instrument sizing and selection, conducting purchasing activities, defining work packages, developing wiring designs for hazardous areas, and performing field engineering.
- Develop project cost estimates for instrumentation.
- Drive continuous improvement of our instrumentation procedures, instructions, and specifications.
- Proactively develop your technical expertise and leadership capabilities within a supportive environment.
The best combination to succeed in this role
- Experience in process instrumentation engineering (5+ years)
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or a related field
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset with a strong drive to achieve results
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken communication
We also value experience and proficiency in leading design teams or project management.
The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas. Partial remote working or working at our remote working office in Espoo are also possible.
