We are looking for you,

Lead/Senior Engineer, Electrical

to our ISBL&TA Engineering, Electrical team in Porvoo.

You will focus on Electrical Engineering activities in the industrial projects in Neste Porvoo refinery ISBL area. In your work you will execute, lead and coordinate Electrical Engineering design activities in various projects. In this job you will work closely with designers from other disciplines, project management and coordination organisation and operation&maintenance organisation from the refinery.

Our team is part of the Investment Project Execution and Governance (IPEG) organisation, ISBL&TA (Inside Battery Limits&Turn Arounds) portfolio. In our team, you will work on multiple projects from the owner's perspective and make sure that requirements of the design are met. The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas.

Your role in our team 

• Prepare/check/approve electrical engineering and procurement documents, procedures and specifications. 

• You will produce the execution planning and cost estimates for Electrical Engineering area

• You will also control and monitor the work of our partner engineering companies in your projects

• Cooperate with own and other engineering disciplines and projects to achieve the project targets

• Take part in developing our procedures, instructions and design tools

Keys to success in this role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master or BSc.) 

• Several years of experience in the field of industrial electrification or similar from the areas like power distribution and substations, process/Field Electrification, electric Heat Tracing, low current systems like Fire alarm systems, communication systems etc.

• You have ability to work in Finnish and in English

• Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
