Senior/Lead Engineer, Layout & Piping

to join our Layout & Piping team in Porvoo. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas. Partial remote working or working at our remote working office in Espoo are also possible.

As a Senior/Lead Engineer, you have an opportunity to make a difference in developing our Layout & Piping function. We have an international team of experts working in Layout and Piping Engineering. Our team is responsible for challenging, rewarding and diverse work tasks in study, basic engineering and detailed engineering project phases. We also support expediting and commissioning project phases in large scale investment projects. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

More about the job

• As a Lead Engineer, lead a design team in diverse and rewarding process and energy industry projects

• Support engineering projects in accordance with your own expertise and prepare initial data for other engineering disciplines

• Define technical requirements and mechanical contracts

• Share and develop your deep know-how and technical skills together with our global resources

You will work closely both with the customer interface and our disciplines to strengthen engineering projects in different process industry projects. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.

Keys to success in this role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Energy Technology, or a related field)

• Previous work experience in project work

• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in Layout and Piping Design, specifically within investment and maintenance projects in the process industry

• Good collaboration and communication skills in English, both spoken and written; Finnish language skills are considered beneficial

• Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset
