Master Data Specialist

 

to join our Asset Performance and Reliability team in Porvoo on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2025. 

 

If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in managing and maintaining critical asset data, we encourage you to apply! As Master Data Specialist, you will participate in execution of the centralized Master Data Governance and processes for our refinery assets including Functional Locations, Equipment and Material Master in SAP based environment. The work requires focus on details, long-term planning and patience to take all the dependencies and stakeholders into account.

The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas. Our hybrid model allows you to work remotely twice a week.

Your role in our team
 

  • Coordinating the movement of functional location, equipment and material data into SAP from projects and other sources
  • Coordination of obsoleted data
  • Initiation, definition and testing of master data related process and system changes

Keys to success in this role 
 

  • Technical degree in Data Processing/IT/Data Models or corresponding
  • Experience in SAP and especially knowledge of the PM module, knowledge of MDG is an advantage
  • Previous experience of data management
  • Accuracy and ability to pay attention to details without forgetting the “big picture” 
  • Good English and Finnish skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, but also to complete tasks systematically
  • Excellent cooperation and communication skills
  • Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset
