We are looking for you,

Project Controller

to our Project Control team located in Porvoo.

You will focus on providing accurate information about progress and financial status of investment projects in Porvoo ISBL (Inside Battery Limits) & TA (Turnaround) specific refinery project portfolio.

In this job you will be a valued member and essential part of different project teams, working closely with Project & Development Managers, Construction Managers & Supervisors, Procurement and other Project Control personnel. The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. We offer free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the Helsinki metropolitan area, Porvoo and other nearby areas. We operate on a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. Wednesdays are a mandatory team day at the Kilpilahti Technology Center. The other office days can be chosen more flexibly, and you are also welcome to work from our Espoo headquarters.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Manage project costs from small to large-scale projects, overseeing multiple projects at once
  
  

• Forecast and analyze project costs to identify potential overruns or savings, and report on variances against the budget
  
  

• Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to measure project performance and analyze key metrics
  
  

• Manage projects' change control process, ensuring all changes are properly documented and approved
  
  

• Facilitate cost review meetings with project teams to ensure accountability and support proactive decision-making
  
  

• Maintain and develop project control systems
  
  

• Support the project manager in all aspects of project execution and control as a core member of the project team

The best combination to succeed in this role

• Several years of successful, relevant experience in a similar or equally demanding role within project controls, project management, business finance, business analysis, or accounting

• Proactive, analytical self-starter with a results-oriented mindset

• Relevant higher education degree

• Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset

• Commitment to long-term success and continuous development of the project controlling capability of Neste
