Project Manager

to join our Project Management team located in Porvoo.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the objectives of the project are fulfilled and targets of the project are met. In this task your responsibilities will include leading and managing the project team, scope, resources, time, cost and change management. Strong networking and communication skills are necessary to ensure efficient communication and information sharing between internal and external project stakeholders.

The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are

Project Manager is accountable for overall delivery of assigned projects including following:

• Manage the projects according to Neste operating model safely in compliance with agreed project scope, schedule, cost and quality.

• Ensuring resourcing and leading the projects engineering, procurement and construction team.

• Track project's scope, schedule and costs, and lead change management process.

• Maintain a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the stakeholders

• Driving for project management best practices and efficient communication in order to create seamless and goal oriented teamwork in projects and organization.

• Ensure that project execution shall fulfill requirements of law and authorities. Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements.

• Reporting projects' status according to agreed principles.

You are expected to work independently, collaborating closely and networking easily.

The best combination to success in this role is

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in industrial project management and EPCM environment.

• Previous experience from process industry is preferred but not necessary.

• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading people in a matrix organization.

• Experienced in collaborating, influencing and engaging diverse, internal and external stakeholder groups.

• Effective communication skills in English verbally and in writing. Finnish language is seen as an advantage.

We also value

• Project Management studies and certifications such as PMP or IPMA.
