We are looking for

3 Purchasers

to our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Purchasing team in Kilpilahti location.

You will focus on purchasing technical materials or technical services for the Porvoo Refinery. In this job you will work closely with category leads in optimizing the supplier and availability and with the work planners in securing the correct materials and services in time for daily maintenance or turnarounds

Your role in our team
Manage end to end purchasing process for Technical Materials and Technical Services including but not limited to:

  • Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQ) and perform commercial bid evaluations

  • Negotiate with the suppliers

  • Prepare and issue purchase order

  • Participate in delivery control and claim issues

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving continuous cost savings

  • Collaborate with sourcing managers on optimizing the supplier base, spend and contracts

  • Position may also include  SAP, Coupa or AI key user responsibilities

 


Keys to success in this role

  • Degree in Business Administration or Engineering (including some studies related to supply chain management and/ or procurement)

  • Several years of experience in purchasing (preferably from chemical, construction or energy industries)

  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


We also value knowledge of refinery materials, services and technologies.
