We are looking for you,
Senior Circularity Specialist
to our environment and quality management team within Oil Products. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in transfrontier shipment of waste and contribute your circularity know-how to a refinery environment.
This role involves coordinating catalyst and waste transfer permits, logistics and relevant reporting. Key responsibility is to foster and ensure waste-related compliance through active collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. In the Environment and quality management team we work together with production and other key stakeholders to assure effective management systems and compliance. Your expertise will be vital in making an immediate impact and fulfilling our commitments for a sustainable future.

The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas.

Your role in our team includes

Waste Shipment Management: Applying and managing international waste shipment permits, including initial data compilation, application document writing and authority negotiations

Logistics Coordination: Manage catalyst and waste transport logistics and transfer documents, manage routing, and act as a liaison with transport companies.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with authorities, transport companies, waste treatment facilities, and internal departments across the refinery.

Compliance: Ensure understanding and adherence to Finnish and European waste and logistics legislation, and verification of compliance/documents for waste-derived raw materials (EEJ/EoW).

Circular Management and optimization: Classification, reporting and verification of compliance of production waste and side streams.
Keys to success in this role
-
Master’s/Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, or related discipline.

Strong understanding and experience of waste and waste shipment legislation and international waste transfers.

Knowledge of logistics, including ADR (VAK) regulations and classifications.

Excellent operational coordination and communication skills with diverse stakeholders

Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset.
Other strengths we value

Familiarity with chemicals and chemical legislation.
