Senior Design Engineer

to join our Layout & Piping team in Porvoo.

We will help our customers to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20 million tons every year by 2030. As a Senior Design Engineer you have an opportunity to make a difference in developing our Layout & Piping function.

We have an international team of experts working in Layout and Piping Engineering. Our team is responsible for challenging, rewarding and diverse work tasks in study, basic engineering and detailed engineering project phases. We also support expediting and commissioning project phases in large scale investment projects.

The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. We organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas.

Your role in our team

• Work closely with advanced 3D plant engineering software that our teams have over 20 years of experience

• Work in various projects both local and international

• Work independently with projects depending on requirements

• Acting as a key user for Aveva ERM and SAP MDG, piping materials and services 

You will work closely both with the customer interface and our disciplines to strengthen engineering projects in different process industry projects. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us. 

Keys to success in this role

• The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

• Previous professional experience in 3D piping design of process plants

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or other applicable field 

• Knowledge of Layout and Piping Design

• Good collaboration and communication skills
