Manager, Owner’s Engineering
to lead our Owner’s Engineering team located in Porvoo, Finland.
This is a career opportunity for you, who has already proven yourself in managing plant engineering activities and now is looking for a move forward. In this role, you will use your experience to act as a line manager to a team of approximately 10 experienced engineering leads to achieve the project targets, develop/implement work processes and to manage a healthy level of subcontracting.
You will focus on refinery projects outside of battery limits (OSBL). In this job you will work closely with Project Managers, Solution Development, Development Managers and the refinery personnel.

Line management responsibility of a team of plant engineering experts

Managing the external engineering partner interface working in OSBL projects

Contribute significantly to the development of the OSBL projects’ execution strategy

Coordinate engineering support to maintenance and operations

Engineering capacity management according to estimate of the future workload

Planning the resourcing solutions for the upcoming projects

Coaching your team members in terms of performance and competence
Keys to success in this role
-
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

Several years of plant engineering project execution experience in an international EPC/EPCM environment
-
Understanding of engineering, procurement and Construction Management disciplines/interfaces
-
Excellent leadership, management, engagement and communication skills
-
Business orientation - takes ownership and initiative

Team player; cooperation and stakeholder management skills are a must

Effective communication skills in English (mandatory) both verbally and in writing. Basic Finnish language skills (speaking and understanding)
