We are looking for you, 

Summer trainee, Investment Portfolio

to our Investment portfolio and management team in Porvoo. We are a team of 15 professionals dedicated to continuously improving the performance and enabling change of our Porvoo refinery, Harbours and Terminals to support transformation towards more sustainable refining. We ensure timely and efficient use of capital by long term investment portfolio planning and leading front-end loading of investment projects.

Your summer work assignment

Your responsibilities during your summer internship will include the following:

• Drive development projects to get an opportunity to deepen your own expertise in investment portfolio management

• Maintain high-quality portfolio data and contribute fresh perspectives to the team, taking ownership of new initiatives from idea to execution 

• Conduct project tasks and studies related to refinery investment projects to support early phase project build-up.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• Studies ongoing in Master´s or Bachelor´s degree in Engineering. Relevant fields include Process, Data or Industrial engineering.

• Willingness to learn and share new ideas in project and portfolio management

• Interest in project economics and information systems

• Additionally we value working experience in process industry or investment projects

Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. The job is located in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, which is about 30 minutes by car from the center of Helsinki. On weekdays, we organize free bus transportation to Kilpilahti for our employees from the capital region, Porvoo and the nearby areas. More information here. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
