Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for a Firefighting Supervisor to join our Renewable Production department at the Neste Rotterdam Refinery.
Firefighting Supervisor is a daytime position and reports to the Maintenance Execution Lead. The Firefighting Supervisor leads a small team for field execution of testing / certificating firefighting equipment and ensures a safe, effective and efficient handling in the field. The Firefighting Supervisor is a member of the team of Maintenance Supervisors.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:

Responsible for safe and timely execution of preventive and corrective work orders for fire fighting equipment in all disciplines (static, rotating, E&I)

Define technical solution for corrective maintenance with respect to all fire fighting equipment (all disciplines)

Contract responsible for the firefighting contracts

Participates and leads in the contractor safety meeting

Supervise the Firefighting team

Aligns within maintenance department goals through cooperation with different discipline supervisors, Firefighting engineer and operations supervisors
The best combination to success in this role:

Bachelor (or higher) degree in engineering.

Minimum 5+ years experience with firefighting equipment in the Petrochemical industry

Knowledge of relevant legislation (NFPA / PGS 29 / Technisch Bulletin norms)
