Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
 
We are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Maintenance Team 
 
You will report to the Maintenance Support Supervisor and as Cost Analyst you will analyse the maintenance spent from a technical perspective. The analysis provides financial and
technical insights per discipline, equipment, unit and vendor. The analysis will also serve as input for the annual performance plan. The Cost Analyst is responsible for the creation of - and follow up on Baseload orders. In case of invoicing issues the Cost Analyst will be the single point of contact for vendors.


 
In your role, you will:
 

  • Follow up on baseload orders. Budget vs Actual reporting by discipline enabling the maintenance supervisors to manage their teams budget. Enables cost awareness;
  • Analysis of maintenance spent, providing insight on SAP usage enabling process improvements and enhancing data quality;
  • Administrates, reports and controls contractor man hours reporting and optimising efficiency and accuracy of this process.

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:
 

  • Degree in Finance or Vocational Education or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years experience within a similar position;
  • Hands-on experience in the chemical industry;
  • Thorough understanding of SAP;
  • Excellent communication skills and able to be approachable and a good listener;
  • Can be a sparring partner if required.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to make timely decisions through good analytical process & problem solving.
