We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor Electrical Instrumentation & Analysers to join our Maintenance Team at the Neste Rotterdam Refineries.

 

The plant has a maintenance department that is responsible for the planning and implementation of advanced maintenance systems. Maintenance and inspections are planned depending on the risk associated with the concerned section of the installation. Besides the daily maintenance works, the Maintenance Department also coordinates major Turnarounds (TA) and Shutdowns (SD). The primary task of the Maintenance Supervisor electrical instrumentation & analysers to organise and lead the  E/I/A  disciplines in execution on the Neste Rotterdam site in a safe and efficient way.

Job Purpose: 

The Maintenance Supervisor electrical instrumentation & analysers  is a daytime position that reports to the maintenance execution lead. In this role you are responsible for the leadership of the discipline Field Supervisor and all associated discipline contractors with the aim to have both the planned and unplanned maintenance executed as per the Neste standards, procedures and processes. Also involvement in projects, providing technical support for procurement and other technical disciplines is an important part of this role.

Responsibilities and Authority:

 Safety

  • High safety an quality awareness

  • Participates in the contractor safety meeting

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards

  • In possession of a VCA-vol certificate

  • Act as an example and propagate Neste safety culture

Technical:

  • Managing the team of   field supervisor(s) by providing (technical) support, guidance and a clear view on the Neste maintenance strategy and corresponding processes.

  • Participating in and providing input for the daily coordination meeting (DCM) where actual issues, corresponding priorities, planning and execution is aligned amongst the different technical disciplines and operations.

  • Providing the Technical Order Statement “TOS” for each corrective work order as a starting point for the discipline workplanner.

  • Aligns Neste strategy within the maintenance department goals through cooperation with different discipline supervisors, engineers, planners, operations and inspection department. Translates department goals into personal (development) goals for the team and provides support in achieving these goals.

  • Supports the discipline work planners with technical input where requested.

  • Act as final gate before closing  work orders in the maintenance management system (SAP).

  • Investigates and follows up on malfunction reports related to E/I/A equipment.
    Act as a single point of contact concerning the technical content of contracts within the E/I/A disciplines.

  • Supervises and monitors the safety, efficiency, quality and budget adherence of the overall process within the E/I/A disciplines in line with the business goals.

  • Provides financial input for both the yearly budget as well as monthly forecast.

  • Maintenance execution lead: discuss goals and results together.

  • Maintenance discipline field supervisors and planners: first point of contact for rotating related issues.

  • Operations: first point of contact for rotating related issues.

  • HSE: safety plan implementation.

  • Contractors: support/coordination through field supervisors, periodic progress  meetings.

  • Maintenance Engineers: counterpart on all discipline related technical issues.

  • Engineering, inspection: alignment on, amongst other things, scope and goals.

Keys of succes to this role

  • Education: HBO or equivalent through experience.

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar function in the petrochemical industry, with a focus on rotating equipment. Potential to grow further in the organization.

  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge  of electrical instrumentation & analyser systems   and relevant legislation & standards, extensive knowledge in maintenance strategies and processes , RCA methodologies, ERP systems (SAP) and office/Google package.
    Communication: Strong and effective communicator on various organizational levels and has excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
    Leadership: High level of responsibility and ownership within the team, acts as a teamplayer, well developed problem solving skills, early adopter of change and comfortable in making critical decisions.
