We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Team at the Neste Rotterdam Refinery.

 

The role of the maintenance supervisors is to lead the people in their respective discipline in order to plan and execute all work according to the maintenance process in a safe and efficient manner.

You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will closely work with other Maintenance Supervisors, provide leadership to Work Preparators, Technicians, Safety Engineers & Supervisors, and Third Parties. The maintenance supervisor is part of the MLT (Maintenance Leadership Team)

Your role in our team

  • The maintenance supervisor Mechanical provides leadership in his discipline (mechanical, cleaning, scaffolding and painting) to all the people and closely cooperates with maintenance discipline engineers
  • The maintenance supervisor aligns regularly with his colleague supervisors to make sure there is one way of working within maintenance.
  • The maintenance supervisor ensures close cooperation with operations and specifically the PMC to have an efficient maintenance execution process.
  • The maintenance supervisor monitors the efficiency and quality of the overall process, and adjusts where relevant to achieve an overall performance level in line with the refinery business goals.
  • The maintenance supervisor Mechanical ensures all work in this discipline is planned, executed and documented in the maintenance management system
  • Ensures work preparation can be done in time (resource capability) and with the right quality (TOS)
    Owns, manages and controls all contracts for the mechanical disciplines
  • Provides timely input to budget (rolling) forecast, and where appropriate provides  updates.

 

Keys to success in this role

 

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

  • Bachelor Mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of related maintenance and engineering disciplines
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as MMS/SAP
