We are looking for a Manager Business Finance to join our Business Finance team in Rotterdam, Maasvlakte.
You will focus on driving refinery performance, cost competitiveness and continuous improvement and providing insights and recommendations for the refinery leadership team, while also keeping refinery financials in order. You spar the local leadership and challenge refinery management to maximize value creation. You spearhead change management in cost awareness and performance management. Ensuring smooth integration and start-up of our expanded refinery is one of your main targets. In this job you will work closely with stakeholders from global refining organization, finance community and stakeholders from corporate functions like procurement, HR and legal.
In our team, you will also have the possibility to participate in global initiatives related to performance improvement programs in RP refining and global finance organization. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow. Rotterdam refinery has 2.5 BEUR expansion project, which will be completed in 2027.

Your role in our team

Drive performance management for Rotterdam refinery and act as business partner for refinery Site Director

Maximize value creation and improve cost awareness

Provide insights of business performance in cooperation with refinery leadership team
-
Develop financials and operational forecasting and reporting practices and tools
-
Develop financial literacy skills of local organization and ensure cost ownership is implemented across the organization

Support selected global RP refining function(s) in addition to local responsibilities
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

Degree on Finance or Engineering or other related field
-
At least 10 years of experience in business finance roles, preferably in manufacturing environment

Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset

Courage to challenge current ways of working and drive change

Good self-leadership skills and proactive approach with a passion for understanding business and its drivers

Good presentation and negotiation skills

Expertise in system & tools, especially SAP, SAP BO, Hyperion, Anaplan, Excel, Google Sheets and Power BI

Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
