Together with 150 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for a Portfolio Management Lead to join the Project & Development department in Rotterdam (Maasvlakte).
Your part in Neste journey
During the complete project phase, The Portfolio Management Lead has responsibilities and accountabilities for guiding the project teams through the project gates, IJ’s (Investment Jury's) and assure all deliverables are of quality and timely available for internal and independent reviews
Main tasks and responsibilities:

Scheduling the Internal reviews

Support and best practice sharing to other projects and developments in the Project Portfolio.

Chairing the Portfolio Management Meetings

Update adequate and timely the information in the SAP project systems, this in cooperation with the project groups.

Give support to an adequate Project Portfolio Health Status

Give support to the 5 year lookahead strategy and vision of the Side Project Portfolio.

Participate in peer discussions with corporate Neste
While this role is highly dependent on the project team (Owner, Development Manager and Project Manager) most of the decisions have to be discussed within these teams. Final decisions on the project are made by the Investment Jury. Transparency of the decisions made by the Portfolio Management Lead are key to make sure the project is following the PIPE project process.

Keys to success in this role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:
- Master or Bachelor in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science or Economics
- >10 years in engineering or large scale industry (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Mining & Metal)
- >5 years in program/project management & control or 2+ years managing portfolio (project, production or development)
- Portfolio management and project management or control skills
- Interest in numbers and data, ability to analyze data
- Oral and written communication skills in English, Emotional intelligence, change leadership, coaching and stakeholder influencing skills
