Process Improvement Engineering Lead
to our Neste Refinery Maasvlakte - Technical department in Rotterdam.
The Process Improvement Engineering Lead is responsible to lead the team of Process Improvement Engineers supporting Rotterdam refinery operations as well as Rotterdam site development. Process Improvement Engineering Lead will act on behalf of the Rotterdam refinery with internal stakeholders outside the Rotterdam organization.
Key responsibility is to ensure team development, people development and ensure results/ delivery on Rotterdam refinery priorities.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

Responsible for leading the team of Process Engineers which delivers medium term, up to one year, support to Rotterdam Refinery Operations;

Responsible and authorized approver of Technical Documents like, but not limited to, (T)MOC, PSSR, Testplans and reports;
-
Act as owner and/or approver for Process Engineering NMS documents related to Refinery Operations;
-
Responsible for Process Engineering Refinery Operations KPI performance;
-
Responsible for delivering on time to Rotterdam Site priorities;
-
Responsible as people manager to develop and performance reviews of the team members;

Responsible to prepare individual LNA;
-
Responsible for resource loading/planning Process Engineering Refinery Operations team;

Act as owner for Synergy cases related to Process Engineering Refinery Operations cases;

Act on behalf of the Rotterdam Refinery Process Engineering team representative with internal stakeholders like, but not limited to, TO, SCM, etc.;

Responsible to deliver support to in and external audits and inspections

Act as owner for assigned Capex projects;
-
Responsible for ensuring support to Refinery Operations when needed i.e SME compliance, SME Capex projects, SD/TA, unforeseen upsets, incident investigations, PHA, Hazop etc.;

Responsible for assigned budget and preparation of yearly performance plan.
The best combination to succeed in this role

Degree in Chemical Engineering or Similar;
-
10+ years experience within a relevant workfield;

Hands-on experience in the industry;
-
Effective communication skills in English (mandatory) both verbally and in writing. Preferably command of the Dutch language;

Experience in Renewable Processes is an advantage.
