We are looking for you, Senior Manager Continual Improvement, to join our global Refining Competence Center as part of our COO office. Our RCC is where we bring the industry’s best practices and finest minds together to uplift our refinery performance to world class standards of safety, reliability, predictability and cost efficiency.
In your role, you will benchmark Neste performance against industrial norms and best practices. You will hold the knowledge on where Neste stands today and where we need to improve. You will create processes and performance measures that drive fact based priority setting for improvement with impact.
As a valued team member, you will contribute to Neste’s growth towards world class, effective and efficient end-to-end value driven refinery management processes with measurable impact.
You will work closely together with the other teams within the Refining Competence Center, business stakeholders at refineries, commercial and supply teams. Your cooperative spirit, your expertise and your network help us make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.
The job is located in one of Neste production locations, i.e. Porvoo (FI), Rotterdam (NL) or Singapore. Some travelling is expected due to the global nature of the role.

Benchmarking the Neste performance compared to the industrial best practices and norms and delivering the results as input data for improvement activities.

Conducting studies related to the current situation internally by e.g. performing audits to different sites.

Setting the Neste level competence requirements

Performing audits to ensure that sites are having the best practices in use and coaching the local competence organizations to upkeep the level. Having the ownership of the organizational requirements, which Neste sets for the refineries.

Together with the colleagues in the Refining Competence Centre, analyzing & improving the overall performance of Neste assets by prioritizing common plans together with business stakeholders.

Building a global network of stakeholders to drive impact and culture with an appreciation for diversity. You will collaborate and influence cross functional, cross regional, cross layer.
Keys to success in this role

Strong (10+ years) experience in petrochemical processes, technology and operations management

Master degree in relevant field

High commitment to safety and safety standards

Results, business and safety -driven mindset

Proven skills in communication and leadership, incl. change leadership
