Senior Manager, Inspections

In your role, you will focus on defining, steering and improving global Neste standards, requirements and frameworks for inspections with the purpose to provide a fair reflection on the mechanical integrity of all equipment to enable right actions at the right time. 

As a valued team member of the global Reliability & Asset Integrity team within Neste Refining Competence Center, you will contribute to bring Neste towards world class Asset Integrity.
You create and assure  effective and efficient end-to-end value driven standards, requirements and performance metrics for inspections.

You will work closely together with your colleagues in the Refining Competence Centre, business stakeholders at refineries, commercial and supply teams.

The job is located in one of Neste production locations, i.e. Porvoo (FI), Rotterdam (NL) or Singapore. Some travelling is expected due to the global nature of the role.

Your role in our team

  • Responsibility for requirements and frameworks for inspections.

  • Formal approver of extraordinary and emergency inspections.

  • Advisor for inspection methods in non standard situations. Introduces new ways of inspecting by following industry/benchmark companies/institutions.

  • Building a global network of stakeholders to drive impact and culture with an appreciation for diversity. You will collaborate and influence cross functional, cross regional, cross layer.  



Keys to success in this role

  • Qualified and seasoned experience (10+ years) in inspection methods for petrochemical, high hazardous industry. Ability to connect theory and practice.  

  • High commitment to safety and safety standards

  • Results, business and safety -driven mindset

  • Ability to understand key strategic business issues

  • Proven skills in communication and leadership.

  • Proven ability to influence multiple levels of an organization

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

  • Master degree in a relevant field

  • Fluent spoken and written English
