Our purpose pushes us forward to search for new ways to reduce the amount of carbon released into the atmosphere, and to innovate circular solutions to reuse carbon again and again. Are you going to help us combat climate change?

We are looking for a Reliability & Process Integrity Engineer to join the global Reliability & Process Integrity team based in Rotterdam Maasvlakte.

Your part in Neste journey

In the Renewables Production Platform (RPP), the global Reliability & Process Integrity team supports our strategic business objectives by creating a safe & sustainable reliability and process safety culture; the team is responsible for developing a multi-year reliability strategy and driving a cross-functional cross-layer collaboration to implement the strategy.

In your role as Reliability & Process Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the site reliability & process integrity priorities in line with our global strategy. Act as the site subject matter expert for risk based work selection and facilitate equipment criticality assessments.

Other main responsibilities are:

  • Create and continuously promote a strong reliability & process safety culture at site.

  • Start development of an annual maintenance plan (condition based, time based PMs, improvements) and support risk based justification of Turnaround work-scope.
  • Ensure a healthy set of reliability KPIs exists at different levels and functions in the organisation (both lagging and leading indicators). Ensure effective monitoring so that it helps to identify key improvement opportunities (for the site or globally) in the way we design, operate and maintain equipment.
  • Coordinate the site equipment bad actor program. Support equipment/maintenance engineers for effective equipment health processes (e.g. equipment health monitoring, KPIs, bad actor resolution, obsolescence program)
  • Subject matter expert for reliability incident investigations
  • Act as an interface with projects to ensure project reliability deliverables are met; support development of preventive maintenance strategies for new assets.
