Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for a Turnaround Contracts and Procurement Specialist to join our team in Rotterdam.
In his role you will be responsible for the Procurement & Contracting of required Services and Materials for refinery Turn Around and the yearly Shutdown. The TA Contracts and Procurement Specialist is responsible for creation and execution of the TA/SD Procurement strategy to ensure best possible value from the market, while complying to specifications and project timelines.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:

Have the responsibility to plan and execute the procurement and contracting activities in TA / SD projects

Carve out the essentials for the procurement & contracting strategy in line with the global and regional guidelines and procedures

Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQ) for both long term contracts and single purchases

Perform commercial bid evaluations

Perform negotiations with suppliers
-
Create contracts and frame agreements
-
Prepare and issue purchase orders
-
Participate in final settlement of accounts

Closely work together with procurement counterparts abroad to align strategies on a global level

Assist in developing the procurement processes, implementation of new tools and ways of working in regional procurement

Involved in supplier/vendor evaluation and audits
-
Support in other Procurement areas such as Maintenance and Projects
The best combination to success in this role:

Bachelor in Technical Education discipline
-
Experience minimum of 5 years
-
Procurement and/or sourcing experience related to technical goods (equipment or materials), services and temporary resourcing
-
Working experience in industrial TA / SD projects
-
Experience with different type of contracting (such as unit rates, mini lump sums, reimbursable
-
Hands-on contractor management
-
Ability to communicate clearly and in professional manner both in English and Dutch

SAP and systems for Planning, Project Management and Contract Management
