Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.

We are looking for a TA Cost Controller to join our Turnaround team in Rotterdam.


The purpose of the Turnaround Cost Controller’s position is to manage cost estimation, control, and analysis for the maintenance, catalyst and project works during the yearly Neste turnarounds ensuring that financial objectives are met.


Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:

  • Develop and manage cost estimates for turnaround budget approval

  • Analyze indexation and rates of contractors to back the procurement department in
    contracting the right workforce

  • Collaborate with the planning team to integrate cost control into project schedules

  • Implement cost control procedures and ensure adherence to financial standards

  • Work closely with the TA Manager and other stakeholders to align cost management with
    project goals

  • Train team members on cost management practices and tools

  • Monitor and report on project cost performance, identifying and addressing variances during project execution to ensure cost efficiency.

 

The best combination to success in this role:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field

  • 2+ years of relevant professional working experience

  • Preferably experience with: SAP, Cleopatra, Roser, Excel, GoogleSheets.
