Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.

 

We are looking for a Turnaround Lead Planner to join our Maintenance team in Rotterdam.
 

The purpose of the Turnaround Lead Planner’s position is to lead the Turnaround Planning team for major TA’s and to manage the TA scoping, work planning/preparation and scope changes in accordance with the TA Manual, to meet the TA objectives (safety, quality, schedule and cost).

 

 

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:
 

  • Extend/recruit and lead the Rotterdam TA Planning team.
  • Ensure sufficient planning competence and capacity to successfully plan and prepare upcoming TA’s in accordance with the TA Governance.
  • Build one ‘cohesive’ TA Planning team which cooperates effectively with other disciplines/functions.
  • Participate in the TA Core Team and cooperate as ‘one team’ with Core Team colleagues.
  • Understand and translate key strategic directives to the planning team, e.g. TA objectives, Premise and Milestone planning.
  • Cooperate effectively with other teams, disciplines or functions, like HSSEQ, QA/QC, Operations, Maintenance or the investment projects regarding scoping, planning, cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Define and coordinate the scoping process together with the TA Manager, including scope collection, review, risk assessment, Scope Freeze and Scope Change procedure.
  • Train key scope contributors on the requirements and their roles with respect to scope identification, challenge and submission.
  • Define and document work packs preparation guidelines (i.e. minimal content, quality expectations, review and approval process, distributions and planning status reporting metrics, etc.).
  • Provide work planning support during TA execution to ensure safe and timely completion of the TA, including managing discovery scope.

 

 

You will work closely with and report to the TA Manager.

 

 

The best combination to success in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 10 Years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably experience with: SAP, Roser/Prometheus work planning tool, Primavera P6, Cleopatra.
