Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 150 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner. 

 

We are looking for a Warehouse Employee to join the Logistics department in Rotterdam(Maasvlakte).

 

Your part in Neste journey 

 

In your role, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the proper receipt, control, storage, issue and administration of technical goods/materials and management of stocks in accordance to defined ML & E processes.

 

Other main responsibilities are

  • Administrative processing (stock accounting) of technical goods and materials ordered for projects.
  • Confirming orders of the automatic reordering process.
  • Making a comparison between the administrative and actual stocks, finding and correcting differences
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders with or in consultation with the Purchase department. 
  • Cooperation with Maintenance Engineers about goods to be purchased
  • Making suggestions regarding the stocking of new articles, stock level of existing articles.
  • Entering data (of new components) in the bio+ information system. 
  • Reporting on the inflow and outflow of materials to the supervisor
  • Offering suggestions for improvement with regard to the management of the information system. 
  • Ensuring that articles to be repaired by third parties are pre-pared for dispatch, processing the receipt of returned goods. 
  • Correct processing of returned goods

 

 

You will work closely with and report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Keys to success in this role

  • The best combination of experiences, skills and background is 
  • MBO Level of working and thinking 
  • 2 years of relevant experience in warehousing environment or relevant business in the petrochemical environment
  • Good practical experience in performance warehousing and material handling and movement activities
  • Knowledge of materials used in this kind of industry
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Communicating effectively in Dutch & English, keeping in mind the level of the parties with whom one is communicating.
