Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for a Waste & Cleaning Supervisor to join our Maintenance team in Rotterdam.
The Waste & Cleaning Supervisor is a daytime position and reports to the Maintenance Superintendent. The Waste & Cleaning Supervisor leads a (small) team of Waste Coordinators to ensure a safe, effective and efficient handling of waste and equipment to be cleaned. The Waste and Cleaning Supervisor is a member of the team of execution Maintenance Supervisors.
Safety

Provides Safety leadership

Participates and leads in the contractor safety meeting

Performs field audits

Contract responsible for the cleaning contract
People

Supervises the contracted waste coordinators

Supports and guides the waste coordinators in development of skills and knowledge.

Aligns within maintenance department goals through cooperation with his discipline supervisor.

Reviews and supports that the waste coordinators and cleaning contractors are trained according to the training matrix.

Contract user for the cleaning contractor
Technical
-
Responsible for compliance and execution of relevant legislation (PGS-15, ADR)
-
Act as the company” knowledgeable “person as meant in PGS 15 and related standards

Provides assurance that waste and chemicals are stored and handled in a safe way
-
Ensure up-to date inventory information of waste and chemicals
-
Safe handling and timely disposal of wastes, and responsible for the waste yard and cleaning area (spuitplaats)

Ensures cleaning up of spills according to legislation
-
Ensures cleaning of equipment according to legislation
-
Acts as cleaning & transport coordinator for shutdowns

Coordinate transport of leaf filters to and from cleaning location
-
Responsible for cost and forecast of waste disposal and cleaning costs

Leading TA / SD waste team
-
Responsible for cleaning scope for tank maintenance

Responsible for firefighting foam handling
The best combination to success in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Experience and knowledge regarding relevant legislation and related standards
