Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for a Waste Coordinator to join our team in Rotterdam.
The Waste Coordinator is a daytime position and reports to the Waste & Cleaning Supervisor. The Waste Coordinator ensures the safe, effective, and efficient handling of waste within the plant.
Responsibilities:

Ensures timely and sufficient removal of waste from waste yards

Manages waste collection
-
Documents and labels waste in compliance with ADR and waste regulations

Keeps accurate registration of all waste removed from the site

Maintains a waste log for hazardous materials storage areas

Supports good housekeeping practices throughout the plant

Ensures cleaning up of spills according to legislation

Ensures cleaning of equipment according to legislation
-
Acts as cleaning & transport coordinator for shutdowns

Safe handling and timely disposal of wastes, and responsible for the waste yard and cleaning area (spuitplaats)
The best combination to success in this role:

Relevant experience in waste management or a related field
-
Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (ADR, SIR, PGS15 waste regulations)

Having a VCA certificate

Strong organizational and documentation skill
