Analyzer Field Engineer II

to join our Maintenance team in the Singapore Tuas Refinery.

You will focus on safe, quality, on time execution of analyzer for Maintenance and Turnarounds. In this job you will work closely with Maintenance sub-teams and various departments like operation, technical, HSSEQ and 3rd party support functions (i.e. contractors, OEMs and consultants) in the organization

In our team, you will provide direction and supervision for field analyzers maintenance. This position is responsible for helping the organization to achieve maintenance excellence & reliability by providing troubleshooting for analyzer, and efficient and effective execution of maintenance. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

  • Accountable and responsible for overall field maintenance execution activities of analyzers,  in accordance with the local authorities requirement, industry standard, company’s rules and regulation, technical assurance and maintenance procedures.

  • Responsible for frontline technical troubleshooting and problem solving of all analyzers

  • Drive improvements for analyzer reliability, availability & accuracy.

  • Drive execution productivity and cost saving.

  • Safety compliance, by driving a personal safety culture within the team, promoting continuous care for the well-being of all personnel on site. 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations in the field, including resource allocation, task assignment, and daily job discussions to execute scheduled jobs, break-ins, and special services according to Maintenance Work Process. Serve as the primary point of contact for frontline troubleshooting and immediate problem resolution.

  • Oversee the productivity and performance of all third-party contractors and service providers. Collaborate with Operations and Planners to prioritize new work orders, support continuous workflow, and ensure timely, on-budget execution of assigned maintenance activities

Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Minimum degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering

  • Minimum 7 years in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry in an Analyzer role

  • Prior Experience in Maintenance, Projects or TAs execution

  • Skill in usage of SAP or relevant CMMS for maintenance execution work

  • Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant materials and analyzer equipment

  • Experienced in maintenance work control, planning, reliability methodologies

  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
