Deputy Shift Supervisor
to join our Operations team in the Neste Singapore Refinery.
You will focus on managing daily shift activities. In this job you will work closely with the Shift Supervisor, Technicians, and Operating Engineers to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Singapore Refinery.

Your role in our team in creating a sustainable future
Responsible to operate the integrated refinery safely, reliably and efficiently:
○ Act as Site Incident Controller (SIC) for responsible area (Main/ South/ West), first responder to emergency situations with the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
○ Responsible to operate the assigned unit according the production plan in respect to quantity and quality.
○ Responsible for executing daily orders related to efficiency and/or maintenance activities for the assigned unit.
○ Responsible for correctness, review and improvement of assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures for the unit assigned.
○ Responsible for first line troubleshooting with his/her team members for the assigned unit.
○ Can be assigned to replace Shift Supervisor during his/her absence.
Responsible for people management and development:
○ Coordinating and assigning tasks for assigned unit for day-to-day tasks of the shift team.
○ Responsible, on a daily basis, the team composition is competent (Area to Operate certified) to occupy the job positions in close cooperation with Shift Supervisor and/or peer Deputy Shift Supervisor.
Other responsibilities:
○ Inform Shift Supervisor immediately on safety and/or utilization risks.
○ Responsible to lead, follow-up, review and improve assigned Task Risk Assessments for activities in the assigned area/unit(s).
○ Responsible to prepare and follow-up on PTW preparation including LOTO and Blinding preparation for activities in the assigned area/unit(s).
○ Responsible to prepare and ensure correct implementation of Interlock bypass, fire-impairment and deficiency equipment for activities in the assigned area/unit(s).
○ Responsible to initiate and lead safety discussions with team members.
○ Responsible to report Incidents in Synergi-life system related incidents during his/her shift in the assigned unit.
○ Responsible to ensure fault reports are entered correctly in the Bio+/ SAP system.
○ Shift representative in the Daily Coordination Meeting (DCM).
Keys to success in this role
○ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
○ Preferably with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
○ Candidates without an equivalent engineering diploma may be considered based on relevant experience.
