We are looking for you,

Electrical & Instrument Field Engineer

to our Maintenance team in the Singapore Tuas Refinery.

You will focus on safe, quality, on time execution of Maintenance and Turnarounds/Shutdown on Electrical and Instrumentation. In this job you will work closely with Maintenance team lead and various departments like operation and technical in the organization

In our team, you will provide direction and supervision of E&I team and contractors for the Instrument and Electrical Equipment within the plant area. You are responsible for helping the organization to achieve maintenance excellence & reliability improvement by providing troubleshooting for equipment, and efficient and effective execution of maintenance. Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

  • Safety & Compliance Execution: 

    • Ensure all electrical and instrument maintenance are carried out according to approved industrial standards and requirements including statutory codes and corporate standards.

    • Instill a personal safety culture within the team, promoting continuous care for the well-being of all personnel on site. Ensure adherence to all technical assurance and maintenance procedures.

 

  • Field Leadership & Troubleshooting: 

    • Responsible for work quality and safety

    • Accountable for overall field execution activities, frontline technical troubleshooting and problem solving.

    • Ensure effective and efficient maintenance services of electrical and field instruments in process field

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for frontline troubleshooting and immediate problem resolution. 

 

  • Activity Management: 

    • Manage and maintain plant E&I assets to attain equipment reliability for continuous and smooth operation

    • Oversee the productivity and performance of all third-party contractors and service providers and team performance to maintain operational costs within budget and generate deliverables according to operation teams’ requirements.

    • Collaborate with Operations and Planners to prioritize new work orders, support continuous workflow.


Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

●  Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent

●  Minimum 7 years relevant experience in the Oil, Gas & Pharmaceutical Industry 

●  Prior Experience in Maintenance, Projects or TAs execution

●  Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant materials and equipment

● Experienced in maintenance work control, SAP/PM/CM maintenance process, planning, and reliability methodologies
