Operations Safety Coordinator
to join our Operations team in Tuas, Singapore.
Safety Coordinator reports to the Operations Day Supervisor and lead and driving excellent safety culture and knowledge in operations department. Champions and leads the implementation of corporate safety initiatives for operations team. Safety Coordinator is supporting the Shift Supervisors and Shift team members to achieve the highest Safety standards.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future
- Responsible for initiating and driving safety programs within Operations
- Responsible for leading and driving Operations Safety Committee as the chairperson
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of Safety KPI's in Operations, initiate developments to drive the results of the Safety KPI’s
- Responsible for correctness, review and improvement of assigned Operational Safety NMS Work Procedures
- Responsible for ensuring the safety related documentation/ checks in Operations are maintained and kept up to-date (e.g.TRA, hoses inspection) in cooperation with Chemical and Documentation Controller
- Responsible for the preparation and conducts safety related trainings within Operations
- Responsible for ensuring corporate and local safety & regulatory requirements are complied with (e.g. EHS Legal Register), in cooperation with HSSEQ department
- Responsible for the communication and updates of safety related information/ updates to the Operations department, including cascading of such information to shift teams in cooperation with Chemicals and Documentations Controller
- Responsible for the reporting and quality control of safety observation tours in Operations
- Supports the development of safety related training (e.g. L2O system) in close cooperation with the competence and HSSEQ team
- Supports the follow-up of actions from safety findings, inspections, initiatives and Synergi requirements
- Supports Incidents/ Near miss investigations
- Supports as member of Task Risk Assessment in operations team
- Supports Safety/ quality related audits as audit member/ internal auditor
- Quality gatekeeper of Operations Safety related documents
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
- Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry including Permit to Work responsibilities.
- Cooperation and Coordination are key attributes to succeed in this role.
