We are looking for you,
Permit to Work Coordinator
to join our Operations team in Tuas, Singapore.
You will focus on the coordination of the issuing of Permit to Work in line with PTW work instruction by liaising between Operations and Maintenance (contractor). In this job you will work closely with the Operations Shift Teams, Operations support team and Maintenance to ensure safe execution of maintenance activities in our refinery. Your role is responsible to lead the safe and smooth Permit to Work (PTW) issuing in accordance with the PTW process. Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future
- Responsible for smooth, safe and reliable execution of the Permit to Work (PTW) issuing process
- Responsible for monitoring of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) to ensure safe work execution prior to permit issuance
- Responsible for the coordination of the issuing of Permit to Work in line with PTW work instruction by liaising between Operations and Maintenance (contractor)
- Responsible for the continual improvement of the PTW process or any related Standard Operating procedures
- Responsible for the upkeep of the PTW documentation, execution and KPI monitoring
- Responsible for setting of the priority for PTW issuing, in line with the planned activities to ensure the smooth execution/ implementation of maintenance/ project activities
- Responsible for the decision making and approval authority for the go/ no-go for unplanned permit applications
- Responsible as the lead of the PTW team during unit shutdowns, turnaround
- Responsible to conduct training/ induction to the PTW work instruction for refresher training or new joiners
- Support Operations shift teams in preparation and endorsement of Lock-out/ Tag-out (LOTO) and Blinding documentation
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
- Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry including Permit to Work responsibilities.
- Cooperation and Coordination are key attributes to succeed in this role.
