We are looking for you,
Process Engineer (Waste Water)
to our Technical Team in Neste Tuas Singapore.
In this job you will work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering functions to strive for Operations Excellence in waste water plant performance through systematic debottlenecking, improvement initiatives and projects. You will be key in building up the robustness of the waste water unit performance under different production modes. With your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

Responsible for the Basis of Design (BOD) and Unit Specific Tolerances (UST) defining the operating limits for the waste water units

Collaborate closely with Operations and Maintenance and external partners to ensure treated wastewater is compliance with sewer discharge limit
-
Support operations in monitoring and analysing process data to ensure wastewater unit is operating optimally and Lead wastewater non-compliance investigation

Continuous development of wastewater units in mid and long-term to ensure safety, high operational availability, productivity, utilization, efficiency and flexibility.

Manage and participate in waste water technology development and expert support projects

Support competence management and development for the wastewater operations
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

Degree in chemical engineering or relevant field and understanding of chemical processing unit operations and engineering.

Strong understanding of waste water technology and its applications in oil and gas and petro-chemical industry

At least five years of relevant work experience in process engineering and operations

Experience on plant operations, test runs, unit startups and shutdowns and operations troubleshooting is considered as an advantage

Understanding and experience utilizing process models and simulations to support in plant optimization and troubleshooting

Good understanding of end-to-end value optimization

Strong interpersonal and planning skills

Good ability to influence in global matrix organization with cultural awareness, performance-driven and active networking attitude

High safety standards and strong influencing skills
