QC Laboratory Coordinator


to our Technical team in Neste Singapore.

 

In this job you will work closely with Laboratory Chemist. Our team is responsible for performing chemical testing of sample, maintaining complete and accurate recordings of test results and advise stakeholders on the significance of test results and follow up with appropriate course of actions.

In our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that sample analysis assigned is completed in an efficient manner and in conformance with company quality control policies.  You are also expected to perform the lab activities strictly in accordance to company HSE policies and procedures.

Your role in our team
 

  • Prepare chemical stock standard solution and reagents
  • Review lab results which include calibration and performance check results
  • Maintain all labs document / data recordings and ensure these are quality compliance and audit ready
  • To upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment (Housekeeping)
  • Create and update instructions, procedures and reports
  • Be the permit applicant/issuer for task and activities carried out in the lab area
  • Assist in troubleshooting of instruments
  • Commissioning and validation supports for new instruments
  • Write procedures for Instrument Maintenance (in house)
  • Participate in risk management discussion for test methods
  • Maintain spare parts inventory list
  • Run Round robin samples and reporting of results to chemist
  • Assist in validation of new instruments & maintain inventory of SQC samples
  • Calibration of instruments
  • Safe Waste disposal and E-tracking submission
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned

 

Keys to success in this role 
 

  • Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferably in chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas industry will be an added advantage
  • Hands-on experience of laboratory instruments / Equipment
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
