We are looking for you,
Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Engineer
to our Manage & Maintain Assets global team to be based in Singapore. .
You will focus on the Singapore RBI program while collaborating with global resources and supporting mechanical integrity developments beyond Singapore. In this job you will work closely with the Singapore Design Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Management team, to mention some key interfaces. Your role will be critical to accelerate the mechanical integrity program in Singapore and other renewables sites.
In our team, you will work closely with the Mechanical Integrity and Reliability functions to address key mechanical integrity challenges. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

Leads development and implementation of the RBI and IOW framework, key user of the site’s GE APM RBI software.

Takes ownership and supports the improvement and implementation of the site inspection strategy.

Coordinates work done by cross-functional teams, also outside of the site.

Developing corrosion loops, identifying damage mechanisms/failure modes, defining IOWs, assessing risks based on the probability and consequence of failure is part of the job.

Facilitates the RBI and IOW workshop with a multi-discipline team of Operations, Process, Maintenance and Inspection Engineers

Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering

At least 7 years of experience in refinery and/or petrochemical environment

Deep technical knowledge at advanced level - 5 years of experience in risk-based inspection development/implementation, inspection activities, turnarounds, projects and maintenance execution is essential. Familiarity with damage mechanisms in the refinery would be preferred.

Having certifications in API 580, 510, 570, 653, CWI/CSWIP and possessing knowledge in ASME/EN codes would be an advantage.

Ability to share knowledge and apply best practices.

Good communication skills and internal/external stakeholder management

Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Ability to facilitate and lead site as well as global initiatives.

Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to make timely decisions through good analytical and problem solving skills.
