NEXBTL Shift Supervisor
to join our operations team in Neste Singapore Refinery.

Your role in our team in creating a sustainable future
Responsible to Operate integrated refinery safe, reliable and efficient
○ Take on the role of Site Incident Controller (SIC) and lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) to mitigate emergency situations.
○ Responsible to operate units according to the production plan and ensuring product quality.
○ Responsible for executing daily orders related to efficiency and/or maintenance activities.
○ Responsible for alignment on operations NMS work procedures accuracy and improvement.
○ Responsible for first line troubleshooting with his/her team members.
Responsible for people management and development
○ Lead the NEXBTL operations shift team applying Neste values and leadership principles.
○ Responsible for NEXBTL operations shift team development to ensure competency required in task areas.
○ Responsible for the personal development plans of all individual team members.
○ Responsible for minimum competent daily shift manning for safe, reliable and efficient operations of the NEXBTL units.
○ Responsible for objective performance appraisals for NEXBTL shift team members.
○ Responsible for quarterly performance reviews of NEXBTL shift teams.
○ Responsible for the evaluation of the NEXBTL shift team promotion requirements.
○ Responsible for the yearly training and development planning of the individual team members and team development.
○ Responsible for and approving of the development program in the L2O system.
○ Responsible for leading and follow-up on survey results of the shift team.
Other responsibilities
○ Responsible to activate maintenance in case of safety and/or unit utilisation risk.
○ Lead NEXBTL operations Task Risk Assessments.
○ Responsible in approving permits to work.
○ Responsible to assign Licence to Operate (L2O) tasks to shift team.
○ Monitor and report overall shift team competence.
○ Plan and manage long term team competency program.
○ Discuss and plan with Competency team the yearly planning of all individuals and team trainings.
○ Highlight major training related issues to Day Superintendent.
○ Responsible on administrative work such as leave system, hugo, logging sheets and J5 handovers.
Keys to success in this role
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 3 years of supervisory experience OR Higher NITEC with 5 years of supervisory experience OR GCE ‘O’ level with 8 years of supervisory experience
- 10~15 years in Oil/Gas and/or Petrochemical industry or previous experience as (deputy) supervisor
- This role requires shift duties (12 hours, 2-2-3 pattern)
- Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset
