We are looking for you,

 

Turnaround Manager

 

to our Maintenance team at the Singapore refinery!

 

You will focus on leading all aspects of our refinery turnarounds from creation of Turnaround (TA) budget, continual improvement of TA team and successfully executing the Turnaround (TA) itself.  In this job you will work closely with your maintenance organization peers, mainly Area Leads, Planning & Scheduling and Central Maintenance Services Lead in addition to procurement, technical and operations teams.

Your role in our team 

  • Manage a team of direct/indirect employees 

  • Ensure TA Manual compliance : Site Long Range Plan, Steering Team / Core Team, Facilitator, Addendum/Discovery management, Contracts  for TA /Project. 

  • Execute Continual Improvement activities

  • Manage maintenance Projects and Turnaround/Shutdown CAPEX


 

Keys to success in this role:

 

  • Recognised Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in oil, refinery, petrochemicals or chemical processing of which 5 years in leadership or managerial roles. 

  • Knowledge of process plant production and maintenance, including construction, commissioning, plant start-up / shut-down & especially turnaround management

  • Contracts Management/Negotiation, familiar with contracts / supply terms, agreements & administration and able to work,

  • Ability to take a strategic view and still have a good eye for details. 

  • A good team player, builds effective cooperation and trustful culture, seeks all collaboration opportunities.

  • Possess strong situational appraisal skills, able to prioritize actions with alignment to company values and goals and having a sense of urgency without losing focus on the big picture.

  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to make timely decisions through good analytical process & problem solving.
