Turnaround Flange Specialist

to our Turnaround team in the Singapore refinery.

 

You will focus on ensuring flange management plans compliance for turnround/shutdown events. In this job you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Your role in our team 

 

  • Implement flange management plan and oversee flange management process for turnaround/shutdown and ensure compliance 

  • Work with multidisciplinary team to identify flanges to be touched for turnaround/shutdown events

    • Including finding flange ID from Neste Flange Management Application (FMA) using 3D Model and drawings.

    • Creation of new flange ID and update flange details in FMA

    • Upload flange details in 3rd party software

    • Random site check to verify flange details accuracy

    • Printing of flange labels and creation of flange list 

  • Prepare Flange Management training materials, train resources and certify competency of resources on flange management

  • Ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and maintain the record

  • Report flange management planning status, flange status during turnaround/shutdown execution period

 

Keys to success in this role

 

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering qualification 

  • Minimum 5 years in process plant turnaround, projects and maintenance activities, specifically in flange management, inspection and assembly.

  • Strong in process plant inspection techniques, requirements and knowledge of international codes and standards – ASME PCC-1.

  • Excellent people and communication skills and able to organize, deploy and manage resources effectively.

 

Other strengths we value

 

  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to make timely decisions through good analytical process & problem solving.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and softwares related to Flange Management (eg. 3D Model)
