Warehouse Assistant
to join our Maintenance Team in Tuas Refinery.
You will focus on warehouse. In this job you will work closely with Maintenance Execution, Maintenance Excellence, Asset Management, Operation, HSSEQ etc.
In our team, you will contributes to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain, supporting organizational goals and enhancing customer experience.

Your role in our team.
- Perform physical warehousing activities such as order receiving according to Delivery Order/Pick List, labelling steps of the warehouse operating in relate to support finished goods movements & material order fulfilment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment/forklift in a safe manner for unloading, loading & transferring activities.
(Working At Height and Forklift training is required).
- Perform daily check on tools & material handling equipment. Inform any non-conformance to direct report and contact vendor for servicing.
- Maintain accuracy of all transactions in SAP related to material movement and inventory.
- Manage & request for waste disposal with authorised waste disposal provider when necessary.
- Flexibility to support activities in West area, Main area, TA warehouse functional areas as the need arises.
- Report any discrepancies to immediate superior and ensure any operational issues are addressed promptly.
- Maintain proper housekeeping.
- Coordinate warehouse operations in accordance to 6S {Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety}
- Maintain proper documentation records system and scan digital copy of documents into SAP.
- Liaise and coordinate stock transfer/forklift or MHE repair/diesel top ups from external vendor.
- Manage and coordinate delivery appointment booking system to streamline the scheduling of deliveries, reducing wait times for trucks and improving the overall flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Support inventory audits, annual physical stock count and periodic cycle counting.
- Support stock count tabulation and update system stock level into SAP.
- Ensure an adequate level of security and access for the safe keeping of documents.
- Coordinate warehouse operations to support Turnaround/Shutdown activities, including preparation, execution, and post-turnaround phases
- Conduct OJT for contractors in the Warehouse/Neste new-comers, maintain an internal training record for future reference.
- Guide, oversee and collaborate with in-house contractors to ensure smooth and safe warehouse operations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Adhoc duties as required by line manager.

- At least 5 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical in the same position for 5 years
- Pays attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge in SAP system
- Good communication skill
