Data Specialist

to our Marketing & Services business unit Data, Analytics, Insights team in Tallinn, Estonia



In this role, you will drive data-driven decision-making by developing and executing SQL queries to generate targeted customer lists for sales and marketing. You'll ensure data quality and GDPR regulations, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver impactful insights. Working closely with our team of data and analytics experts within the Strategy and Business Development unit, you will play a key role in building a customer-centric and data-driven culture. Your role in our team 

  • Develop and execute SQL queries within BigQuery to generate targeted customer lists.    

  • Validate and maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of customer data.    

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams and individuals to understand their data needs.    

  • Prioritize data requests and optimize and develop SQL queries for efficiency and compliance.    

  • Identify and address data quality issues.    

  • Contribute to an agile work environment.



Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.

  • Experience with Google BigQuery.

  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with ability to lead your own work and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset.


Other strengths we value

 

  • Experience with ETL processes, data pipeline development, and basic scripting (e.g., Python).

  • Experience with internal stakeholder management.

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience with Amazon Redshift or Snowflake.

  • Experience with PowerBI or Qlik

  • Estonian or Finnish language skills.
