Finance specialist (Accounts receivable/ Payments)

to our Finance Team in Tallinn.

You will focus on the accounts receivable and customers payment processes, it means taking care of customers’ balances. In this job you will work closely with our finance team, credit controller and customer service.

Your role in our team 

You will support your team's operative work and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in accounting processes of accounts receivable and payments.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Manage customer receivables in Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Provide daily support in resolving customer inquiries about customer payments

  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable interfaces and balance internal items

  • Process customer overpayments and refunds

  • Perform Accounts Receivable month end closing tasks and activities according to the global closing schedule in a timely and accurate manner

  • Execute internal controls for Accounts Receivable process such as the 4-eye principle, adequate approval workflows in the systems, etc.

  • Prepare Accounts Receivable reports and respond to internal inquiries

  • Prepare relevant audit material and assist in audits

  • Executing outgoing payments of vendor invoice batches and manual payment orders in AMC Banking module in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Reconcile Payments interfaces with the help of bank statements.

  • Ensure that outgoing payments are processed and executed on time.

  • Perform period end closing tasks for outgoing payments according to the global closing schedule in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Execute internal controls for the outgoing payments process: ensure the 4-eye principle and correct and adequate approval flows in the systems.

  • Assist in inquiries about the status of payments.

  • Identify potential for automation and digitalization in the provided services and initiate the process for that in the systems.

 

The job is located in Kristiine, Tallinn with excellent transport connections. Your office hours will be Mon to Fri 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM including a 30-minute lunch break.



The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Some experience and/or studies in accounting and Accounts Receivable or Payments processes

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is seen as an advantage

  • Skilled in resolving discrepancies, communicating with customers and stakeholders and maintaining accurate records

  • Team player, able to work independently and take initiative

  • Accuracy in working with numbers

  • Attention to detail

  • Positive can-do attitude and good stress tolerance
