Summer Trainee, M&S Financial Services

To join our Financial Services team at the Neste Marketing & Services business unit in Vilnius. 

Our team is responsible for the core financial operations and accounting integrity of the Neste Marketing & Services functional line. We ensure that every transaction is accurate and that our financial data reflects our commitment to excellence. As we are currently evolving our digital landscape, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting experts during a significant system transition.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of accountants across the Baltics. You will be right at the heart of our financial data management, ensuring that our move to a new ERP system is seamless and accurate.

Your role in our team

ERP Implementation Support: Assist the accounting team in transitioning to a new ERP system, ensuring that historical and current data is migrated correctly.

Data Entry & Verification: Handle the precise entry of accounting information and numbers into our financial systems, maintaining high standards of data quality.

Accounting Documentation: Support the team in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and organizing financial records to ensure compliance with accounting requirements..

Data Cleansing: Review and update existing financial records to prepare them for system integration, identifying and correcting any discrepancies in the numbers.

Internal Support: Provide administrative assistance to the accountants in daily tasks and special projects related to the summer closing period.

Keys to success in this role

Educational Background: Studies in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (ongoing or recently completed).

Precision & Detail: You have a natural affinity for numbers and take pride in "getting it right the first time."

Technical Comfort: You are comfortable working with spreadsheets and are eager to learn the ins and outs of a professional ERP system.

Language Skills: Good command of English and your local language (Lithuanian).

Mindset: A patient, diligent, and proactive approach to repetitive tasks that are critical for the business.

The summer job typically takes place between June 1 and September 30, 2026. For Lithuania: Your monthly gross salary will be 1153 EUR.
