We are looking for you,
Turnaround QA/QC Engineer
to join our Turnaround team in the Singapore Tuas Refinery.
You will focus on safe, flawless, on time delivery of Turnarounds (TA) and Shutdowns. In this job you will work closely with Maintenance sub-teams and various departments in the organization.
In our team, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance and quality control efforts to ensure that the execution of turnaround at the site meets the compliance requirements of safety, quality, and industry standards. Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future
- TA Planning & Preparation: Manage contractor quality plans and participates in multidisciplinary reviews for scope, schedule and work packs.
- Execution, Inspection & Quality Control : Field coordination & monitoring, support request for inspection (RFI), manage quality walks and tracks non conformance report.
- Flange Management Specialization: Ensure compliance on flange management procedure, and quality plans are strictly implemented.
- Handover & Pre-Startup Safety Review: Tracks work pack completion status and support PSSR activities.
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 7 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical industry.
- Good understanding of TA planning and execution process
- Strong expertise in Turnaround (TA) planning and quality management, with specialized knowledge in Flange Management and overarching QA/QC processes.
- Deep understanding of process plant inspection techniques and code requirements. Must be proficient with ASNT specifications, API/ASME codes, WPS/PQR, welders’ qualification, and ASME PCC-1 guidelines.
- Solid working knowledge in the usage of SAP and/or relevant Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for TA-related scoping and work orders.
